AN amazing path today - isn't that a beautiful site?

I hope you are had a good Martin Luther King celebration yesterday. He was a great man, and I believe he really wanted peace. I wonder if he was still alive what he would have thought about this past election.
How can I not talk about the Presidential Inauguration?
I hope you love me no matter who I voted for.
What I pray for - truly pray for - is peace and love for our country.
I want the country to prosper!
I want is for us to all work together!
Let us work as one - with no more division.
We must start new.
Let's save our country and our people.
Let's pray for our wonderful country.

I have always said-I am an American first and will support the president the country elects-because that is what we are supposed to do. There are times I have wished things were different but I know that the country has a chance to change it all at the next election.
I am praying for a peaceful transition as we move forward. The bottom line is we ALL love the United States and want what is best for everyone. I am praying for the haters and hope they can find a peaceful acceptance of what is happening.
God bless you, my old friend. xo Diana
MORNING! It was a lovely inauguration and I watched it all day long yesterday. I am so excited for what seems to be a NEW beginning for this Country. Like you, I know that we may not all agree, but I never want to allow politics to interfere with my relationship with friends. I laughed at the woman on the scale...Those M&M's I don't think were helping her. Your post are always fun and I am always excited to see what you post.....Have a good day...pretty sure it is still COLD in your area....so, stay warm.
ha ha on the m and Ms and I used to eat the whole bag, the whole BIG bag.. and I looked just like she does.. I don't watch anything to do with politics, or parades or documenentarys, they all bore me to tears. have never watched a inauguration , but I did watch two royal weddings, ha ha
I, too, was glued to the television yesterday ... more than a little optimistic. I love your way with words, Sandie. From your mouth to God's ears!
I loved everything about the inauguration ceremonies yesterday, Chatty! It is time for us to come together as a nation under God and with common sense. And Martin Luther King, Jr., will always be one of my heroes. Blessings!
Yes ma'am! I love you no matter who you voted for and I think the divide going on in this country is pretty sad. That said - We watched a lot of tv yesterday and totally enjoyed it. Praying for a fresh start!
Our Country needs all the prayers it can get. I pray for it and our leaders and for peace and prosperity for all. I'm proud to be called an American.
Joining you in prayers for world peace and understanding.
Thank you for your comment today on my Blog. I have responded more fully there. Many thanx for your continued visits. Much appreciated.
God bless always.
Praying for peace and for a peaceful transition, and a fresh start.
Love the cartoon too. I can't have m&m's in the house. They are a bane to my diet, (which by the way isn't going well at all.)

That is a neat road picture. Martin Luther King was such a peaceful and good man. I like the "stained glass window" quote, and it's so true. How strange that she had 300 snails as pets! And she took them to parties! Oh, I love M&M's, they are one of my favorite candies. Yes, I watched the Inauguration. Hope this is a good year for all of us. That last picture of the pug is funny. January is going by so fast. Enjoy the rest of the days, Sandie. And thanks for your daily e-mails, I love them. : )

This snail woman story is so weird, I think I will research it! Good to see you today, Sandi!
Make America great again! That is an interesting inspiration. I can't believe that about her snails. Weird! Love the pug photo. Have a nice week.
I am so happy with our new President and enjoyed watching it all on TV yesterday!! Praise God!
I watched TV for 7 hours straight yesterday! Praying for Trump and his leadership.....
Well said on the inauguration. It shouldn't make one bit of difference who someone else voted for.
Oh my, snails for pets that she carried in her purse.
Snails? That's peculiar to say the least. Mental illness is a real thing.
We're very pleased with the last election too. There's a new Sheriff in town. Time to kick the crazies to the curb. "Free at last ..." fits! Praying for President Trump, VP Vance, their families, staff and appointees. May they always follow the will of God first to bring Him glory. ⭐
Yes Sandy, those flowers are on the bush right outside my dining room window right now. They always bloom in Jan. and Feb. Its so delightful to have that splash of color .

YES! We all need to pull together. This is a GREAT COUNTRY the best. Mr. Trump is my president whether I voted for him or not. I believe in the vote and glad we have it, it is our way of life. I hope we can try to 'just get along' is a famous saying from a man who was terribly mistreated a few years ago. Now we need to practice what our country believes...
I hope this goes. Have tried and my system keeps saying huh uh!
Love ya
thumbs up!
Yes, it shouldn't matter who our friends voted for. We all want the same thing even if we disagree about how to achieve it. That story of the woman and her snails is crazy! Love always...❤️
I love the inspiration quote. I'm going to write it in my journal TODAY! Hugs!
I meant to say, I think Martin Luther King Jr would have made a great president himself. Love again....
Such a heartfelt reflection on peace, unity, and the importance of coming together as one. Martin Luther King Jr.'s message of love and understanding is something we can all carry forward, especially in times of division. It’s so important to focus on what unites us rather than what divides us. Here’s hoping for a future of prosperity and harmony for all.
I invite you to read my new blog post: melodyjacob.com. Have a lovely week ahead.
I think everything will be fine after the dust settles. I watched the inauguration and I heard a lot of prayers and the name of God being invoked. It was a good start.
Hugs,
Julia
Not everyone feels the same way as you do regarding who one voted for. I could personally care less who voted for who. Love the last picture of the puppy!
I must confess I have a secret stash of M & Ms in the freezer. Don't tell anyone! HA HA HA
