I spent a lot of my days at doctor offices I was not planning on doing.  I went for an echocardiogram.  Then the cardiologist and he did an EKG.
I thought he would say that nothing was wrong like last year.  However, he said my echo and EKG showed I was in AFIB. I had no earthly idea what that was at the time. I ended up on a calcium channel blocker and a blood thinner. I already take so much medicine. He asked what my goal was and I said not to have a stroke.
I went to the EP cardiologist yesterday, to see what I needed to have done to treat my AFIB.
He recommended at ABLATION.
I also went for a sleep study, and I have moderate sleep apnea.  I'll have to get a device for that too.
Lastly, I need to see a nutritionist.  I have been doctored to death.
Forgive me being late on reading blogs.

Saw these silly skeletons on top of the van????

Went to visit, clean, and put flowers on my mother and brother's grave.

Remember it was grandson's 25th birthday and took him out to dinner - with wife and little one.

The restaurant was called the Iberian Pig and it was a Tapas Bar.

And yes, this was my bite of octopus - I ate for my grandson.

Speaking of my grandson - he started a new job this month.  And it is all virtual.  He has an office at home.  He made and designed this all by himself and his room looks GREAT!  His computer is on the opposite side and when he is online - that is his background.

Last year I was looking all over for these Evergreen trees. I could not find any by my home.  On the way to all my doctor visits - there they were in all their glory.  Ever spring around Easter - the top of the tree grows a top that looks like a cross.  It was beautiful.

Okay, I am done chatting - love, Chatty Crone.

Dear Sandie, so many doctor appointments and some unexpected results and recommendations.
Bless your heart.
Octopus is a food I have never tried and don't want to, it makes me squeamish.
LOL
Glad you got some time with your grandson.
Your bird illustration with the glasses at the end of your post made me laugh. I love it.
I will keep you in my prayers, dear friend.

Happy birthday to your grandson. He did a fantastic job for his work backdrop. When I worked for the bank we had bank options for our computer backdrops when working from home. They did not want to see anything else. So corporate. My husband has a Bi-pap machine. They even made him have a loop put in him for about 2 years because they thought he had AFIB. Hope all goes well for you. Janice

I didn't get out to look for the pine trees this year. The ones I saw when I posted that photo were from my part-time job with the State of Florida. Glad you got to see some of them!! Congrats to the grandson on the new job! His home office looks quite nice and the backdrop is very professional looking! Well done! Enjoy that little one!! xo

Wow, that sounds like a lot of stuff happening at once for you! I'm glad you got it all checked out, and hopefully they will be able to control things with medication and perhaps some "lifestyle changes". I will be praying for you as you navigate these issues. Love the family/wedding pictures, and I know that sweet great-grandbaby is being enjoyed. Congratulations on your grandson's new job. How nice to be able to work from home! We never had that option back in our day. It sure could've solved a lot of issues for people. Oh, octopus? Yikes, not sure I'd like that. I tried squid once (by mistake), and it was just too chewy for my taste. Hey, we did the "jobs" theme on Tuesday 4 today, in case you want to join in! You had the idea first!

I'm sorry about all the appointments. It does get old, but I'm glad you're getting things checked and put on meds.
Congrats on the wedding!
Happy Birthday to your grandson and how nice to go out with them. His work backdrop looks great!
