Harvey Samuel Firestone - Happy Birthday - Wikipedia
Firestone, Ford, and Thomas Edison were generally considered the three leaders in American industry at the time, and often worked and vacationed together. All three were part of a very exclusive group titled "The Millionaires' Club" . This was a true gentlemen’s club where one would call another in the appropriate city and ask him to purchase a building or other items for them without so much as a handshake, merely on his word.
Those were the days when your word and a handshake meant something!
Ford, Edison, Firestone

Poor doxy. I know how I feel when my feet are cold in the snow. I need to get out the warm socks today.
Hey Chatty!
The cartoon is soooo funny! That is about how my girls looked in the snow. Two is taller than Jazz so Jazz would try to walk where Two had already plowed a path!
Our electric came back on around noon! So now I won't have to hand wash the dishes! Yeah!
Merry Christmas!
Angela
those were the good old days with a handshake or just saying something and it was good as done; we really have changed so drastically in the wrong way so quickly
loved the cartoon; Koda could appreciate that; we used to have to shovel out paths for him when we lived in Montana
I got about 80% on the song trivia

Chatty, I loved this post! I also enjoyed seeing the picture of that threesome. They wintered in Ft. Myers, FL, and Edison's lab there is amazing.
XO,
Sheila :-)
