Show and tail . . .

Okay I'm joining Angela at West Virginia Treasures. She wants to hear about your pet story - as I don't have a pet I find animal stories - so here goes. Don't forget to check her out!

The earthquake was right in the area where giant pandas live. Most pandas in this area were rescued, particular attention was given to the babies, all the pandas were scared. The photos were taken right after earthquake and during rescue effort care. All the pandas were released back into the wild and it was noted that all of the bears stayed together.

Aren't they so cute?

Happy Birthday to George Strait - wikipedia

In 1981, Strait and Norma welcomed son George Strait, Jr., known as "Bubba." Their daughter Jenifer was killed in an automobile accident in San Marcos, Texas, on June 25, 1986, at the age of 13. The family set up a foundation, The Jenifer Lynn Strait Foundation, which donates money to children's charities in the San Antonio, Texas area.

Bubba, who is a graduate of Texas A&M University, is pursuing a career as a Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) team roping competitor. Strait was able to watch his son compete at the Houston Rodeo in 2006 shortly before taking the stage for his own performance.

OH, those pandas! How adorable. I'm glad to see that they were rescued and released. You just want to hug them!

True confessions: George Strait is not someone with whom I am familar, but it appears from some of the comments that he is a C/W performer?

XO,

Sheila :-)

how cute! sad about the pandas, but it seems like the end of the story wasn't too bad with them being released and then sticking together (sort of like what we should do, isn't it? stick with people who help us get through life :)

Hey Sandie!

I love Pandas! I have a stuffed Panda that I got when I was 5 years old at Kings Island. I still have it but unfortunately he is in a box in the barn because he got so dirty from being left in our old house when we moved. I took his picture though.

What an interesting sotry about the Pandas and the earthquake. Animals do feel the wrath of Mother Nature more than we do.

Tuesdays' Show & Tail!

Oh my, my wife loves both pandas and George Strait. Since neither can compete with me, I don't mind.

Those pandas are totally adorable! That is my daughter's favorite animal.

I love listening to George Strait, too. So sorry to hear about his loss, and I hope his son stays safe... at least he's not riding bulls!
