Okay here is a site with over 6000 foods and all there nutritional values if you are interested:

CAR AIR CONDITIONING -

My car book says to roll down the windows to let out all the hot air before turning on A/C.

WHY ?
Car Airconditioning - No wonder more folks are dying from cancer than ever before. We wonder where this stuff comes from but here is an example that explains a lot of the cancer causing incidents.

Many people are in their cars first thing in the morning and the last thing at night, 7 days a week. As I read this, it makes me feel guilty and ill. Please pass this on to as many people as possible. Guess it’s not
too late to make some changes.

Please do NOT turn on A/C as soon as you enter the car.

Open the windows after you enter your car and then turn ON the AC after a couple of minutes.

Here's why: According to research, the car dashboard, seats, air freshener emit Benzene, a Cancer causing toxin (carcinogen - take time to observe  the smell of heated plastic in your car).

In addition to causing cancer, Benzene poisons your bones, causes anemia  and reduces white blood cells. Prolonged exposure will cause Leukemia, increasing the risk of cancer. Can also cause miscarriage.
Acceptable Benzene level indoors is 50 mg per sq. ft. A car parked indoors with windows closed will contain 400-800 mg of Benzene.

If parked outdoors under the sun at a temperature above 60 degrees F, the Benzene level goes up to 2000-4000 mg, 40 times the acceptable level.

People who get into the car, keeping windows closed will inevitably inhale, in quick succession, excessive amounts of the toxin. Benzene is a toxin that affects your kidney and liver. What's worse, it is
extremely difficult for your body to expel this toxic stuff.

So friends, please open the windows and door of your car - give time for interior to air out - dispel the deadly stuff - before you enter.

This is what snopes.com says. It is not the air conditioning in the car but the Benzene producing agents that cause cancer.
http://www.snopes.com/medical/toxins/benzene.asp  This is a some true some false report.

Still think it is interesting to stay informed.

Do you have any areas that hurt - maybe you could have someone rub your feet in the right spot.

Dissolve soap scum from shower doors. Clean with a sheet of Bounce.

Now this is something I think personally and do I eat all natural organic foods - NO - do I think I should YES - but it is expensive and very time consuming to eat this way - but try at least to do some eating good - every little bit helps.

THIS IS A LIST OF THE TEN DIRTIEST FOODS YOU CAN EAT - VERY INTERESTING.

Fun Friday with a little help from my friends.

I think this is so funny and so true to life!  lol

My trip to the store

There was a bit of confusion at the store  this morning.  When I was ready to pay for my groceries, the cashier said, "Strip down facing me."
Making a mental note to complain to my congressman about Homeland
Security running amok, I did just as she had instructed.

When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to my credit card.

I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.

They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!
Thank you Debbie at Just Breathe.

What state are you from and did you find out something interesting?

I want to tell you some good news for a change.  My husband went to the doctor today having had a CT scan first.  The doctor was amazed, but the blood on both sides was gone!  Totally.  He said this was an amazing case because he was so young and there was no reason why, how, or if it could or would happen again - and that at first the doctors had wanted to operate on him.

Do you remember how mad I was when he was dismissed from the hospital by his doctors because he had to wait until the aspirin was out of his system?

Why did I doubt things?  Why didn't I believe that God knew what he was doing?  I have such a hard time letting go and believing HE will take care of things.

And - what if he had died?  What if he had to have the surgery?  Would this also have been the will of God?  I always wonder things like this.  I have no doubt in God - but I don't always understand HIS ways.  I do know this - I don't have to let the unexplainable ruin my believable.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY -  now men can think the same way - I just don't have a picture for you.
Thank you Sandra at Madsnapper.

Wednesday Hump Day

HAPPY HUMP DAY!

Do you think that you use your car effectually?

Yes that is real people and their luggage.

I thought I did - until I saw these - my car is 12 years old - and is still wonderful - so that's good - right?  I love my Honda.  Do you drive a car until it dies or get new ones every so often?  Ever hear of Clark Howard - a money guru here in Atlanta - he says you need to drive each car for ten years.  That is the best way to save money for your future.

My daughter bought my Honda new and wanted to sell it for a new one.  So I bought that.  Then she was selling that one and my husband bought that one.  Now she bough another Honda - has paid it off for five years and she is going to keep this one!  We all have Honda Crv's!
