Awe day .....

x_3dadd24b photo x_3dadd24b_zps6282f696.gifNOW THIS IS FUNNY!  You have to admit it!

Thank you Angela - this is so cute - it's what animals would look like if they went to eat fast foods.    I guess we should all stop eating so much fast food - but it is so easy in this busy world.
Do you eat fast foods  a lot?????
And if you don't - what do you eat that is fast and healthy at home?  I would love some suggestions.

Thank you Ann - isn't that just the cutest thing ever?  Awe - right?  One happy baby.

Thank you Kelly - now come on - this is an awe picture too.  He knows how to watch television.

Thank you Connie - both our dogs feel the exact same way - in fact I feel the same way too!

Okay thought for the day -

And if it sounds easy - it's not - at least for me.  I go to bed and pray that I make better choices and I'll go to sleep and by an hour or two in the next day - I've failed!  I just have to hop back on the wagon.
Can you relate?

Love always, chatty . . .and Disco !

I do not eat fast food unless there's no other option. If out shopping and I'm famished, I look for a Subway. No cokes either. Swore those off in 2009. I also eat fresh veggies (not cooked) with my meals. I have lost 40 lbs since starting this way of eating in 2010. I eat a lot of lean cuisines, smart ones, etc.

Enjoyed the laughs today. And I can relate to setting goals and falling off the wagon quickly. It happens! Have a great day!

Oh, I LOVE that last quote about our choices. It's so true, too, isn't it, Sandie? If we don't like our lives, start making better choices. Love it.

I eat fast food very rarely.

My newest "healthy" snack is absolutely delicious. It's raspberries (frozen at this time of year and then thawed), sprinkled with a teaspoon or so of sugar, and then served on top of Greek yogurt.

My fave is "Oikos." Do you have that in Georgia? Then I sprinkle few pecan halves on top. It's like eating a sundae to me.....sooooo yummy.

Hope your day is terrific----like you! Susan

Absolutely lovely my Chatty friend. Love the quotes, and yes I can relate to making a decision at night then blowing it quick the next day.
Fast food? Yesterday Sherry made the best Salmon stew in less than 20 minutes. I thought that was healthy and pretty fast for a full meal.

But I love soups and one pot dishes, although that way too, I tend to eat too much.
Oh well It is a great read today (as per usual)

Love the cat with coffee! That's me!! We all have a struggle and mine is daily also. I'm working on better choices, but its just that work...especially on the food front! Hugs, Linda

Yes, I can relate on the choice making. Thankfully, we get a new day to start all over again. Hope you have a terrific Tuesday!

We rarely have fast food because we'd look like those fat animals. That was a cute video by the way. Made me laugh several times. I do a lot of Lean Cuisine dinners for something fast during the day. Works for me and I can have pasta.

Have a terrific day. ☺

We seldom eat fast foods out. We like to cooks up several meals on the weekends and freeze them for the weeks ahead. I try to make double batches if possible. Another trick is to put our next days meal in a crock pot and start it before we go to bed. It is ready in the morning. I put it back in the fridge until just before dinner then take it out to heat.

Cute post, Disco!!!! Thanks...

Fast Foods have been the reason that so many of us have weight problems. I used to work hard and would stop at a fast-food place (drive-through)---and eat a meal quickly in the car. GADS!

I have a good friend who still eats alot of fast foods. She'll take her grandchildren --who won't eat anything except chicken fingers, pizza, and french fries... TERRIBLE...

We seldom go to a fast food place anymore --and opt to go to a place where we can get meat and veggies/fruits, etc... Fast Foods have so many hidden calories... BUT--they are simple, taste good, and in this busy society, people go there.

How about you all???
Hugs,
Betsy

That video is hilarious! I know how hard it is to make good choices but you have to start at home with a list of things to shop for. Then when that's what's in the pantry and fridge...that's what you'll eat. Enjoy your afternoon! Sweet hugs!

Miss Chatty....I love your header.....and the color. Agua was the color of my prom dress years ago and it is a big joke in the family!!!!!!!!!! But it is a beautiful header!

I like the one about the cat without his coffee........That is me...I might just as well be a dog!! I am bad in the morning before the coffee...or so they say!

I love your new layout and color scheme. I don't eat fast food, my version before I married my husband was to eat expensive cheeses with Triskets for dinner because I just don't like to cook. Needless to say, that wasn't healthy either and I was sick a lot more in those days. Now I eat very healthy meals thanks to him. And my Greek yogurt for lunch.

Thank you Sandy. Sometimes I feel like those fast food eating animals.

Do you eat fast foods a lot?????
Not a whole lot. We have to drive 20 minutes to get to one. When we are in town we generally don't plan on fast food. Mostly we eat at a BBQ place and have their special.

And if you don't - what do you eat that is fast and healthy at home? I would love some suggestions.
Fast and healthy at home are hot dogs and turkey sandwiches. I also eat sardines. I also keep a jar of chocolate covered raisins that are sort of healthy.
We generally have a dish of low fat ice cream before going to bed.

Most of that, my favorite home foods, is healthy but not in excess. My cardiologist's dietician said I could anything in moderation.

So many cute things here today. That video made me laugh... in a sad kind of way. Now that my kids are grown I rarely eat at fast food places, but if so I am happy to see that they are offering more healthy choices.
Thanks so much for your recent visit and kind comments. To answer your question, I am in NC. Not too far from you.

Fun post! Loved the video- it gave me my daily laugh! HAHA :)
We do not eat fast food because we don't eat meat. The only other options at fast food places are fries (NOT), soda (NOT), shakes (Not)...guess we could go for a salad, but they are usually nutrient light and calorie dense with artificial-flavored dressings. It's a bother at first, but we have become accustomed to thinking and packing ahead: apples, carrots, oranges, salads, sandwiches, yogurt with almonds, etc. I always carry almonds in the car, along with water and healthy whole grain bars.
HAPPY Easter :)

Yes, I can definitely relate.

Lately, fast food is what I can sling together with relative quickness. We've been being so good because of my Son, we just might have to treat ourselves to a burger and fries. Sounds sinful... and easy.

I feel like one of those flamingos, but don't eat a lot of fast food. Although sometimes only a hamburger will do.... I try to lean towards salads when eating out, but even those can be calorie rich. One thing they do here on EVERY menu is list calories for every item. I love it! It's a good way to see what you may or may not want to choose. My problem is, the food is so good here and so many things to try I'm going to burst! Walking and the gym will be back in my schedule soon when things calm down around here! Ann

I take spells about getting pizza on Fridays. Sometimes I like to make my own homemade pizza and other times I like to buy it. There are a few places we like to eat out at. Really there isn't that many around here that we like. There is only one Mexican place we like. One Italian place and we like Chili's and another place that has mostly homemade type food. I do cook if we are home but sometimes if we are out and it is time to eat we will eat out.

Oh, my goodness, Sandie. I finally hauled myself out of hibernation, and am confronted by overstuffed animals when I am SO hungry. That's really not fair of you!

I hope your winter went well, and that you will Disco with disco this summer. Or disco with Disco. (I need to learn how to type all over again.)

Blessings and Bear hugs!

I can't believe it, that little dog giving the dirty look, because there is a limit on treats is our little Monty. It looks exactly like him and when he wants something, he stands and stares at you until you work out what he wants. Happy Easter again my friend. xxx
