LET'S GO ON A TRIP TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!
Isn't this the truth?
Why You Shouldn't Lie A minister told his congregation, "Next week I plan to preach about the sin of lying. To help you understand my sermon, I want you all to read Mark 17."
The following Sunday, as he prepared to deliver his sermon, the minister asked for a show of hands. He wanted to know how many had read Mark 17. Several hands went up.
The minister smiled and said, "Mark has only sixteen chapters. I will now proceed with my sermon on the sin of lying."
Thank you Sharon
THE LAUGH:
THIS WILL NEVER EVER HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!
THE LIFT: Thank you Monica.

That set me up for the weekend!

I had to laugh at the closed sign on Promised land State park. I like to see directions to it as was drive thru Pennsylvania. We never stopped there, but always wanted to.
I ceertainly know about the DRUG problem of the 1950's. HA!
Great entry, U make'em good!
Thanks (even with help from friends) (smile)
That reference to Mark 17 is a hoot! Can't wait to share with our neighbor, a retired minister. Sometimes he will reference a particular scripture and I'm embarrassed to admit, I'm clueless.
Ha! The same drug problem that I had and still it runs through my veins . This particular drug problem should still be well enforced. Never tell a lie. :-/
BlessYaSandie
Love the "I was drug" section. LOL
Love the drug problem!!! Cute cartoons too!!

It is a shame but now I am going to have to confess to my family that I had a drug problem when I was growing up too.
The Drug article is wonderful. All kids today need to read that one!!!!
Funny about the lying story... Loved it.

I totally agree with the DRUG program. I did the soap on my Grandkids one time. They to this day still watch what they say in front of me.
I want one of those door mats LOL Thanks for the fun Friday giggles...hard to believe it is Friday already....
Words of truth and a few laughs what I have come to expect on Fridays. Oh I do like that door mat .
Merle........
About 'drugged:' Boy, ain't it the truth! I'm passing that along.
Have a great weekend, Sandie.
Great post, Sandie. Funny and informative. The Gospel joke was a hoot. Take care. Susan
We all have special needs so can we really laugh. maybe not...... Sorry babes but in this instant you haven't made me laugh. AMEN and god be praised. Someone has so much to answer to !

I love the laughs and the drug story. Thanks for the smiles. Have a great weekend. hugs, Lura
That first image cracked me up. :D
Thanks for all the laughs!
I love the squirrel! LOL He is socking it back, Sandie!
Guess what... I got the book! It got here yesterday, and Mr. M gave it to me this morning. I can't wait to read it. I will be escaping to St. Augustine again next week (I'm back for the weekend), so I will try and read it then. Can't wait!
And the Promise Land? At some point, when the last trumpet sounds and Jesus returns, the gates will open for the last time. Some people will knock, and he will say, "Depart from me, I know you not." I just want to be on the inside, and thanks to Him and what He did, I will be! You, too! Maybe we'll be neighbors. I'd like that!
XO,
Sheila
The Mark 17 story is a good one. Too bad about the white legs, but probably nobody would be looking at her legs.
Cartoon likes are #'s (Ooops, no number):
Mouse using the 'mouse-sized' straw; and
Lady with the untannable feet.
I pretty well believe that lying is not a sin. Yes if it is malicous or hurtful.
Have a nice weekend. It is "raining in Georgia" is it not?
..
So THAT is why the squirrels around here act as they do!!! Hmm, maybe I should make a Pink Squirrel (haven't thought about that drink in ages) and join them.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Ok, a great Monday too. ;)
You definitely started my day out right! I love the I have a drug problem..lol
My husband and I have worked from home most of our lives... just sayin'! LOL, usually in our PJs though.

It's Sunday -- but it's still funny! :)
I needed these. Love them....all of them and you. Hope you're having a beautiful weekend.
those are all good ones. I do remember having a bit of a drug problem when I was a kid...lol
That last one was great!
Have a blessed Sunday,
Susan :)
Fun post as usual. So right about laughter being an instant vacation. I hope that your weekend has been a good one. I am getting better. My hubby is getting now.
Do you know who sells that cat rug? It's so cute.
Your blog is always a joy. I love the Dobson quote at the top of the page and everything else. God bless.
I had the same drug problem! Must be a family trait because I passed it along to my daughters.
I love the one about lying in church. I should try that on my SS class.
I'm sneaky like that.
I drug my children everywhere I had to go too! And on the darn bus!!! My late mother always said I was blessed with beautiful and healthy children. Boy was she right!
She drug me everywhere too! My dad worked long, hard hours at the steel mill and my mother was a tough bird! She made sure we minded and she drug us where ever it was she needed to go!
Love this story!
I had the same kind of drug problem the article writes about! If only kids had that same "problem" today....sigh.
The squirrel is hilarious!!
