 Continuing Backwards -

The Honeymoon:

Now if it was left to the grandson, we would never have heard from them,

but with GD she did text when they left, arrived, sent two photos, and a text when they got home.

THANK YOU GD!

We did get to see some photos when they came home.

Their Honeymoon was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming - when they were there - there was no snow -

no worries they said that they had a great time.

Took a sleigh ride on wheels - rode the ski lift - and ate at all sorts of different restaurants with different food.  A lot of Elk.

Every place had souvenirs of waffles - they did not know why.

Leaving the airport.

Arriving at Jackson Hole.

Sleigh Ride - by wagon.

THEIR LAST DAY THERE - GORGEOUS!

I'M SO GLAD FOR THEIR SAFETY - THE TEXTS - AND THAT THEY HAD A GOOD TIME.

WE are smiling. It is near impossible to see your grandson who I still see as in High School. LOL Love the Jackson Hole area and you have entered some great pictures. They look so happy and He has filled out into a MAN, so hard to see him married.
The best to them and to you and yours. Always good to visit with you!

It's soooo good to see you back in Blogville, Sandie! I'm still shaking my head that 'little' Andy's all grown -- handsome and married!

My hairdresser just returned from Jackson Hole, too. Like Sandra, I want to put that on my bucket list.

Oh it's so good to see you back on the blog. I took a chance and popped over here..yay..
I just love when our kids think about us even when its such a special time in their lives.
I do love Jackson Hole too. We were there way back in the dark ages.

You've been missed. I haven't blogged much myself either lately, but I still visit my favorite blogs.

Lovely photos of the young couple.

Happy New Year!

Lovely photos and I'm sure they made wonderful memories. I have been married twice and didn't have a honeymoon either time. Joe and I did have some great vacations, though! Thanks for sharing.

I just noticed you have your comments on, but I sent you an e-mail also. Wyoming is a perfect spot for a honeymoon. I can just imagine what a sight it is seeing all those Elk. I hope the newlyweds are having a sweet time being married. I just love her dress. It's so unique and elegant.

Have a peaceful Sunday, Sandie. We got a good amount of snow yesterday!

They certainly picked a beautiful place to honeymoon. We have been to Jackson Hole a few times. The elk there are worth the trip themselves!

We have genes in our family that cause everyone - well the kids - to look younger than they are. However 23 is young. He still needs to fill out a bit - but he is a man. It is hard to see them married too - feels weird - but wonderful.

I don't know how they picked it - Jackson Hole - but they loved it. Thanks for letting me come back - lol. I am still shaking my head about Andy being grown and married - but he is. lol

I am so mixed up with the comments no comments - so I thought I would try this - to write back right away here - not sure if anyone will come back or check or not! lol
Shaye is a gorgeous girl and could wear anything - but it was very unique - simple but elegant on her - you are right.
They loved the elk.
You did get snow? How much?

Chatty Crone said...

They just loved the elk and saw them very up close and personal.
