BUCKET LISTS
I thought it might be fun to have a "small" bucket list - let's say of ten items.
Do you have one? Does it contain things you can do, but haven't or does it contain things you want to do, but probably won't.
My list:
1. Birdwatching. (I finally got a bird feeder for my birthday in February - but no birds have come yet!)
2. See my sister and her family again. (They are out in CA and I don't know if I will be able to afford to go out there. I am going to try.)
3. Have my book published. (I have it all ready - it is just the work of finding out how to do it.)
4. Live in Tuscany for a month. (A dream)
5. Go on a safari in Africa. (A dream)
6. Eat healthy for one month - would love a chef! (A dream - no mojo).
7. Learn how to paint. (Hmm maybe)
8. Try a crazy haircut and color. (I could do this.)
9. Take cooking classes. (I could do this)
10. Go to Israel. (A dream)
Can you share your bucket list with me - some of your dreams, wishes, wants, desires?
Do you think you will be able to do any of them?

the only thing I see on your list I would want to do is have a chef do all the cooking here, make that a housekeeper that did everything.
no bucket list for me, except for one thing, stay our of a nursing home until I die
What a great idea, Sandie! I want to do this, too!
If one is able, I think spending time in Tuscany should be (close to) mandatory. Years ago I spent time with a man who lived there. I'll be honest -- it made me appreciate the U.S.A. more, yet it is an experience I'll never forget.
I'm curious about your book -- can you tell us a little more? Fiction? Autobiography?
Bucket lists are such fun! Mine isn't as far fetched as yours is but my bucket list includes settling down in Texas, Spending lots of time with my daughter, finding new doctors as good as the ones I presently have. Being warm again is high on the list too. No more Ohio winters for me.
That is a great list. I hope you will be able to do those things. I don't have a list at this time.
#3: I have no idea how to do this either but when you figure it out please tell us all about it!
I think you could totally do the Tuscany thing, but rent a house not a hotel room. Seems easier.
Bucket List:
Mine is a Bouquet List. Do you remember that British show with Hyacinth Bouquet? Her name was Bucket, but she didn't want anyone to know.
Hmm. Really? Ten things? Is it weird to say I think I have done all my things? I am ready to go Home, but I want to see my kids do well in life and my great-neph and nec grow up. Those are things! I could do that. 💕
I thought of something! I would like to go to Red Square and see St. Basil's Cathedral. 💕
Love your bucket list..
Mine is a lot shorter since we don't have a lot of years left ... nor the money to do most of them.
I would love to go on another cruise, especially to Alaska..went with my Mom about 30 years ago..love to go with Hubby.
I have been fortunate to have traveled to many places but would love to continue doing it.
Great list but I have to think further about it.
I'll be back..

Good list. I hope you can tic them off one by one someday. Visiting Africa would be nice. I'd like to ride my motorbike there. Also, Madsnapper said something that would be on my list: stay outta Nursing Home until Jesus calls me Home. I've done volunteer work in one. Plus, my step-Mom and Mother-in-law passed in Nursing Homes. Don't wanna go there.
Blessings. 😊
This is ambitious! But why not shoot for the stars? We are birdwatchers! And the hairdo idea could be really fun. My bucket list at this point is just for both of us to trey and stay healthy. Really!
A good list, I tried to think what would be on my list but other then travel around Australia I came up with nothing although I would also like to go to New Zealand again.
I love your bucket list! I wish some of those same things. Do you know Under The Tuscan Sun is my favorite movie? Would love to live there too, but only if my family lived there with me. I've always wanted to visit Africa. That's great that you have a book that you want to get published. What's it about? I would love to visit the Holy Land, and especially Bethlehem. You should go to California to see your sister! But I know what you mean about the expense of traveling. Bird watching. I do that every day haha. They come to my lawn, and they are so gentle and beautiful. I'm sure you will see them at the bird feeder soon.
So, I don't have a bucket list, but here are a few places I'd love to see someday.
**Rome (it's such an old city with much history.
**Greece (part of my heritage).
**In the states, I've always wanted to see Vermont. I heard the Fall and Winters are so pretty.
I hope you do most of the things on your bucket list, Sandie.

The only bucket lists I have right now is 1. to retire sooner than later and 2. get all of my cross stitch patterns completed that I purchased. Nothing much else. I am a homebody and just want to relax. Janice
You could a lot of the things that are on your bucket list: eat healthy, try a crazy hair cut and color, take cooking classes.
As for going to Israel- not a good idea as we are at war inside and outside. Only God knows what will be the outcome of all this.
Me, all I wish now, is peace, health, food, non-violence.
This is always a great visit. We enjoy your thoughts. I like your list. I have had a crazy one and crossed off a few.. But about the book. YES do it. check with Kindle on Amazon, they have made it fairly simple and VERY? reasonable to publish. It has been awhile for me, but I remember it was not Too complicated.....
Love you lady and thanks for thinking of us....
