Fun Friday with a little help from my friends.

I think this is so funny and so true to life!  lol

My trip to the store

There was a bit of confusion at the store  this morning.  When I was ready to pay for my groceries, the cashier said, "Strip down facing me."
Making a mental note to complain to my congressman about Homeland
Security running amok, I did just as she had instructed.

When the hysterical shrieking and alarms finally subsided, I found out that she was referring to my credit card.

I have been asked to shop elsewhere in the future.

They need to make their instructions to us seniors a little clearer!
Thank you Debbie at Just Breathe.

It is a happy Friday here for me today. After suffering the heat yesterday with out any a/c, it finally decided to kick on for me this morning. At least now when I'm out side, I have to cool place to come in to. Here at the camper we don't like to be inside much, but temps like this you just have to cool off for awhile. Hope your day is a fantastic one!

Thanks for the funnies! The grocery store one was great! Yesterday's facts were interesting. Of course, I knew about coke in our beloved GA, but many of the others were news to me. It's hard to believe any "city" in the US doesn't have a McDonalds! That's "almost" un-American! ha! ha!

And a good day to you too! Thanks for making me smile. :)

Love the "run away" note.

Sad to say, I think I've worked with some women that got hired for the same reason as the "spell check" girl. As a retail store manager in a mall, I once got an application that listed as experience "Burker King". It was a high end woman's store so that wouldn't have worked even if she'd spelled it right.

The last quote is from "Hope Floats". It's one of my all time favorite movies.

I have had a few days like that cat and I wish I had used that excuse when I ran away at 10 years old. My parents would have been too tickled to ground me.

A long time ago I worked for an employment agency. I swear I have seen that resume! :) We had one client who we joked had only one requirement for potential employes. If they were BBB (blonde big boobs) we sent them to him and he would hire them on the spot as parts runners for his auto repair shop. That gal would have been a shoo in!

Great read tonight, I am late but love the read. Love the Peanuts shot on the side bar just above my love, 'rearing back and belting it out!'

Just got in from fireworks here. don't know why tonight, maybe they don't have a calendar!!
Love ya!
